We elect politicians to represent us in government. This is a form of democracy known as “Representative Democracy”. We started using it a long time ago because it was the only practical option. The world has changed.

 

Representative democracy is fertile ground for mass corruption and it creates division and maintains dangerous concentrations of power. We’ve reached a point in our evolution where it’s time to take the power way from politicians and put it in the hands of the people.

 

We can do it with “Direct Democracy”. One Direct Democracy [“ODD”] is an organization that is focused on upgrading the outdated global democratic system by replacing it with a direct democracy framework so that people can vote directly on issues and control their own future rather than elect a politician and just hope they do a good job.
